 ¨Hello ¨ i said in a very soft voice and gentle voice, looking at the birds from their cage. It was a hot, sunny summer day in the back yard. My mom as usual watching me so nothing could go wrong cause i was a little trouble maker from time to time. I would find my ways to make trouble but for me it was called being curious of what was surrounding me. I would be sometimes admired as i watched how my mom gave food to the birds in a astonishing way, so delicate and clever. I would watch here do this every day in the mornings, taking out the cage and letting them walk in the fresh, wet grass. How?, i thought to myself. How could they not fly away like the regular bird i see every day in the park? Would mom have something to do with this?†¦show more content†¦That thought go stuck in my head, eco while we left from the yard to the living room, while i looking back at them with wonder. It must have been a few weeks before we let them out again. It was very rare now. I have been raining for 3 weeks and the birds still chirping, near the window where the rain fell like leaves would on a tree, blowing then to different directions. I would touched the cooled window, breathing into the glass. It felt like the mouths would go very slowly. Where does rain come from? What is it made of? How come it stays that lone? What are those white fluffy things? I thought again but life had other plans for me. The sunny came out once again and the days. Then one day while mom was in the kitchen cooking food for use to eat in the evening. I stepped outside very slowly, tip toeing my wa y out to the yard. My heart beating like a drum as i tip towed. I looked at the birds and then sprinted to their direction. I remembered the steps that mom did but they were already outside.Finally my time to shine! I can finally be a big girl now. I can t wait to see mom s face when she relizes that i can take care of them without any help! I opened their cage as i seen mom do. I did it very slowly trying not scare them. When the door was open, i put my hand in the cage, near one of the birds. They must have gotten scared of me and away out the cage they flew from home. Up, up to the sky.
